Installing Intel Network Card on RedHat Linux 9

Installing Intel Network Card on RedHat Linux 9

I have still not been able to install Intel Network
Card. The name of the card is:
"Intel(R) PRO/100 VE Network Connection "
This is the name that is shown in the MS Windows and
it is working prefectly over there.

I tried to use eepro.o and eepro100.o modules in
Linux. But it gives a number of errors. The first one
being init_module, device not found.

It is using IRQ 20. In the Linux there are only 15
IRQs. So, that also puts me at a loss to understand
how will Linux use IRQ 20. Of course, if Linux had
picked it up itself, it would allocate some different
IRQ.

It is installed in computer Rafflesystems, who claim
it to be branded system. I am not sure, if it is.

So, please advice is requested,
1) How to install this network card?
2) What IRQ to use or at least how to manage the
IRQ?
Thanks
shiraz
