Back I am looking at some performance issues on redhat enterprise 3 WS U3 machines against a netapp filer ( NetApp Release 6.5.2R1 )
The filer is supporting a mix of;
linux ( as per above ) solaris ( 8 )
Is there any way of selectively through the automounter map mount filesystems either udp or tcp. The solaris clients are not seeing a problem, the linux ones are. I'd like to remount the linux boxes via tcp ?
I know I can use OS specific variables, however I am unsure how I can extend this to mount options ?
