trying to determine the 'filesystem features '

hi...

in using parted.. i get an err msg 'filesystem has incompatible feature
enabled '

is there a way/command that i can use to see what filesystem featrures are
enabled for a hard drive/partition?

if possible, can i just turn them all off!!

haven 't foung an answer using google... i have the FC3 rescue CD
