I started with the commercial Red Hat CDs and upgraded to Update 4. I
also purged some unneeded packages. At some point I've managed to
mangle the default login screen to the point of only having the normal
background, the RH logo at the top, the login box, no text, and only the
right angles on the bottom toolbar, no text. I've gone through a lot of
rpm verifications and do not have any errors in any of my logs. I've
googled and searched the RH archives. Can someone point me in the
direction on where to go from here? I'm getting ready to create Update
4 ISO's and starting from scratch.
