I get the impression that CentOS is better supported because of their
larger community (www.caosity.org). They do seem to be consistently
first out of the box with respect to rebuild updates.

Milan is right with respect to third party drivers. However, I hear that
Lineox provides commercial support for their rebuild (www.lineox.net),
but haven't tried it personally.
