I have a linux RHEL installed in IBM 336 series. But
it keep crashing (about 3 times per week) and we have
to reboot it to resolve the issue. Besides, we found
that the CPU indicator LED turn RED on the diagnostics
panel related to CPU over-heating. I used TOP program
to find the process running and found that %CPU is
used by X process (see below) for 50% all the time.
It is high!! May I know what could be the problem? I
believe the X is refering to X windows right? Why X
window cause such a problem?
