I install the kernels, via rpm -ivh, and then do the freshen via rpm -Fvh.
Freshening some packages may also require the installation of other
specific dependencies via rpm -Uvh / -ivh.
I tend to break those out, and do them separately.

nfs/http/ftp server and run a series of rpm freshen installs hitting
