Thanks to you and Arjan for the heads up on fam => gamin changeover and
your compatibility experiences. I guess removing fam-devel from the spec
file allows rpmbuild to proceed but the underlying configure run picks up
on the gamin-devel (or as it appears to courier's configure script
fam-devel) components. Very interesting to know about and something I'd
not considered before when bypassing a specfile requirement.

I think that should be  gamin*  packages that need ignoring... undoubtedly
just a typo.
