Back
Do a:
route add default gw 192.168.51.2
to change it immediately.
That's assuming that that gateway is doing NAT or something for you to
get to the outside world.
You can also edit the file /etc/sysconfig/network and set your gateway
in there like so:
GATEWAY=192.168.51.2
so that the gateway is set properly during bootup.
