swig and subversion

swig and subversion

Hi,

Can anyone shed some light on using subversion of RedHat Enterprise WS 3
U3 or above

There is a dependency on swig 1.3 from subversion 1.1.1. I notice that
the updated swig and also subversion
are included in RH4, but I can only see the older version of SWIG ( from
http://www.swig.org/download.html )

"SWIG 1.1p5 <http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/swig/swig1.1p5.tar.gz>
is the latest stable release of SWIG-1.1 (1998/02/05)" in RH 3.

Will swig be updated in the updates on RH3, thus allowing subversion.
The reason I ask this is
I really do not want to move from RH3 until I have various third party
applications signed off on the RH4 release before upgrading.

Tks,

-Bob
