I have 6 gigs of ram on my blades, but I can't seem to create an oracle
database with an sga larger than 1 gig.

I have increased the shmmax to 4g, but when I increase the sga settings,
I  get an Oracle message ORA-27123 (See http://ORA-27123.ora-code.com) unable to attach to shared memory
segment.  I can't find good article on Linux memory management.

Does anyone have any thoughts on this?



Does rhe3 updatae 4 use Hugetlbpages?
