you're looking for a VOIP solutino, basically... It's been done by dialpad,
but I don't know if they're still in business.... There's a couple other
companies that do it, too. If you're looking for a homebrew solution, all you
need to do *heh* is grab hold of your sound card & set it to digitize (16kHz is
telphone quality, 44kHz is CD quality) the inputs. This is handed off to the
IP stack & sent to a specific address, where the reverse is done.
Boy, I make that sound simple, don't I? It's not.

Hy guys,
I have been presented with a problem that is entirely new to me. I need
to transport sound that enters line-in in a soundcard of computer A to
line-out in a soundcard of computer B with no or little loss in quality.
Let's say media (transport) is solved. How would you solve this? I am
interested in all kinds of solutions, drop a few words
even if you think your solution is bad for quality.
