I have 2 RHEL 3.0 systems 32 bit systems,
one has 12G of physical memory, the other has 6G.
The systems are at the same rpm levels ,
with the same app running ( Sun LDAP ),
configured identically.
Yet when I do vmstat the memory free is approximately the same .
( Also see free memory in meminfo below ). Am I running
into a 32bit memory usage limitation ? Is there a better way to
configure the system to use the 12G I have available,
even though this is 32 bit ?
