I understand a bug may be private, but this bug has been public for
something like 1 or 2 years, it had many (say 50/100) comments from
different people. It was not something between a single customer and
Red Hat.

I didn't open it and I don't have an issue tracker, I was just
following to see if a solution would be found. From the number of
comments it was something interesting for all users.

If you google for the number 121434 you get this bug as 2nd hit
meaning it's referenced in many places.
