It is your mail address, but it's shown as a domain -- people know that
"thom.customnetworks.ca" should be interpreted as
"thom@(protected)". I forget the reasons it's that way, but the
Cricket Book (DNS & Bind, O'Reilly) explains it. You should buy that book.
