My sendmail.cf file has that lined commented:



#Dj$w.Foo.COM



Just in case it may help, I've noticed that when you have one alias of your
machine in your /etc/hosts file, the sender of the emails appears to be
user@(protected) instead of user@(protected) So, you could try doifying your
/etc/hosts with the following:



Ip         machine           subdomain.domain.com



And send an email. The from field should have HYPERLINK
"mailto:user@(protected)"user@(protected), if your system
behaves as mine.
