  | | | RedHat Cluster NFS and Netgroups | RedHat Cluster NFS and Netgroups 2005-06-13 - By Frank, Ryan
Back I am using RedHat Cluster suite 1.2.22 on a pair of DL-145's running RedHat AS 3.0 Update 4 (64bit).
I am trying to setup an NFS share for user home directories. When I create the service for NFS it asks for the clients I want to make this mount available for I am unable to specify the netgroup.
When I use * for the client, everyone can mount the share, however using the standard @<netgroup> the mount becomes unavailable. When I run exportfs I can see the directory shared, and the @<netgroup> is specified. The netgroup file is there, and the nsswitch.conf is using files for it's options. This config works fine on a non-clustered node...
Can anyone help me understand what I am missing?
