Are you booting the smp kernel on the non-working machine? Look at your
/etc/grub.conf and see what the default kernel is.

hi all,
i've two identical Fujitsu-Siemens Primergy H200 with
dual Pentium III - 900MHz. one of them performs fine, the
other only shows 1 cpu and also thinks that this cpu is
runnig at 531MHz...
both systems have kernel 2.4.21-32.0.1 installed (running
with RHEL 3 Update 5)
/proc/cpuinfo of working system:
