Hi,
>I want to uninstall mysql 4.0 from linux redhat 3.

Go to the topmost of the mysql source directory,
Then give gmake uninstall, it will remove all the
binaries, libraries, man and other files installed
by make utility.
#cd /usr/src/mysql-4.1.12
#gmake uninstall
