Back Hi,
I'm running RHAS3 update 3 (can't go any higher because of the availability of binary drivers for my hard drives). I'm trying to use the jfs filesystem on my 1 Tb RAID 5. I formatted it, but then found out that the jfs modules are only present in the kernel-unsupported RPM. I installed it, but then got this:
root@(protected) root]# modprobe jfs /lib/modules/2.4.21-20.EL/unsupported/fs/jfs/jfs.o: unresolved symbol posix_acl_clone_R740a43d4 /lib/modules/2.4.21-20.EL/unsupported/fs/jfs/jfs.o: unresolved symbol lock_page_R08fca57f /lib/modules/2.4.21-20.EL/unsupported/fs/jfs/jfs.o: unresolved symbol block_truncate_page_Rbb845fd5 /lib/modules/2.4.21-20.EL/unsupported/fs/jfs/jfs.o: unresolved symbol new_inode_Re954d4e0 /lib/modules/2.4.21-20.EL/unsupported/fs/jfs/jfs.o: unresolved symbol __get_free_pages_R9016dd82 /lib/modules/2.4.21-20.EL/unsupported/fs/jfs/jfs.o: unresolved symbol bread_R3bd65935 ...
There's more.
What am I missing?
Thanks, Simon --
