I'm running sendmail. The clients are connecting via the servers IP address.
The server has a local lan of 10.10.10.0/24.
The server just developed this problem recently, and I'm not sure if it's related to errata I installed or not.
How should I have the dns configured for this type of a setup?
I have 25 workstations. This machine is not the master of the domain. It is controlled by the ISP.
Should I add all the machine names to /etc/hosts with their IP addresses, or should I set up a forward and reverse zone file for the local lan?
Thanks.
