I currently use Mondorescue myself and it works very well. I would
recommend it as a system imager and backup solution but on maximum
compression it takes a lot of time. However if you require a 24x7 fault
tolerant solution I would still recommended a cluster solution
regardless of what the app is providing. HP has MC ServiceGuard which is
a good product and can be customized. RedHat also has cluster services
but I have not looked into it. But all cluster products require
redundant hardware.
