I have a similar problem on two FC2 dual opteron systems.
After a reboot I need to deactivate and then activate
the NICs before I can connect to the network.
Strangely the setup on those systems is identical to
several others (also FC2 dual opteron systems) which
don't have that problem.
If you figure it out, I'd be quite interested as I've
scoured my systems for differences from the others
with no success.
