  | | | Problem mounting data DVD | Problem mounting data DVD 2005-08-11 - By Robinson, Andrew W.
Back I have a data dvd+rw I created at home using k3b on Fedora Core 4. I'm trying to read it on my RHEL 3 WS workstation here at work. If I try to mount it with "-t udf", the mount command errors out with very little info, I believe because it does not recognize the format. If I mount it with "-t iso9660", the large mpeg file on the disk is truncated. This is true for two different DVDs with two different mpeg files. Both DVD's seem normal when read on the WinXP PC sitting next to the RHEL3WS workstation. I have successfully read a number of "movie" DVDs on the workstation before this. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?
Thanks!
