The Qlogic driver has the ability to hide LUNs fom the system, this is
known as LUN-masking, is done on a per-path basis and is actually used by
the config tool to avoid having 4x the same LUN available (which you
normally would have).

So it is possible to change the configuration to hide the fist LUN
completely.
