The ISOs for Update 6 (i386, WS, at least) contain elfutils and
elfutils-libelf (and the corresponding -devel packages) with version
0.91-3. These rpms were updated in May of '04 to 0.94-1. (Actually, it
looks like 0.91-3 rpms were also included with U5 ISO's: perhaps they
haven't been updated in the ISO's at all for some reason?) 0.94-1 is the
version available from the RHN channel.
It apparently was a somewhat trivial update (from the errata):
"The elfutils package has been updated to incorporate changes to the
package manifest."
But we've seen yum dependency loop problems updating a couple of
servers, so I'm passing this on in case anyone else is having problems.
