Howdy all,

Does EL v3 support usb 2.0?  Our newly installed ES is using Kernel
2.4.21-4.EL.  As far as I can tell, rhn package search is telling me
the latest kernel for v3 is kernel-2 (See http://nel-2.ora-code.com).4.21-37.  Is it
necessary/recommended to upgrade the kernel for maximum support?  My
understanding is that the 2.6 kernel has a more robust implementation.

Also, the USB controller on our server is version 1.1.  Does anyone
have any recommendations for a PCI USB 2.0 card?  My googling turned
up a little, but most manufacturers don't have linux drivers.
