I believe you can get hp/compaq's insight manager tools (agents and
drivers) for linux but you typically monitor the tools with a windoze
(and now linux) based application "Insight Manager". Search for " HP
Systems Insight Manager" at hp.com. I also install webmin when I install
linux as it simplifies learning and some tasks.
