Without a GUI, you have to issue some command line stuff.  Before
opening up your firewall, you should read up on iptables, and learn
some of the command lines arguments.

Be warned, the above article does not explain how to make the rules
'permanent' (remain after a reboot).

You might find better details articles from google.  I found the above
just searching for "iptables samba".

You can also look in to installing a more 'featured' f/w GUI like this
