Thanks, but I'm not even rebuilding the entire kernel or using rpmbuild because I'm just trying to get a tg3.o for 2.4.21-32.0.1.EL and ELsmp. :)
HP provides tg3.o's with U6 tg3 source compiled for U5 (2.4.21-32.EL and 32.ELsmp), but we use the 32.0.1.EL errata.
I've already been able to get both tg3.o's needed, so now I'm off to test them. I'm using Red Hat's stock kernel RPM errata and added tg3.o under /lib/modules/`uname -r`/updates.
