netdump over bonded interfaces

netdump over bonded interfaces

Thanks for the input Brian,

Just for the hell of it I amended my test server to use mode 0 on the bond
and forced a crash. It still sent the dump to the netdump server.

regards,
Julian

My group requested that feature for RHEL 3 and someone else had also
requested it before us.  Note, the same support is NOT in RHEL 4 yet and
it's not in the U3 beta either  :(  We're working that angle, but if it
any consolation (doubt it), it took us from June '05 until Update 6 was
released to get bonding mode 1 support.

If I were you, I'd open a support request and ask for bonding mode 0
support for netdump in both RHEL 3 and 4.

/Brian/
