I'll try to check out kswap the next time, but I don't recall any of the
processes looking abnormal, which was so frustrating. The machine is an
NFS client (/home is located there). It's also using LDAP for logins.
Both of those made me worry that there was a network issue, but when
this blocking occurs, I can ping the LDAP and NFS servers just fine, and
none of our other 20 boxes that are setup this way (some RHEL3, others
RHEL4) have this problem.
