RHEL3 U7 tg3 packet loss

RHEL3 U7 tg3 packet loss

2006-03-21       - By Jussi Silvennoinen

 Back
U7 has tg3 driver version 3.43RH where 2.4.21-37.0.1 has 3.27RH. I'm
seeing an average of 7% packet loss on one of two identical boxes (FSC
BX600 blade). Problem shows up when running U7-kernel, booting back to
2.4.21-37.0.1 fixes the problem. Logs show nothing.

The blades are located in separate frames, both frames have the same
firmware versions and both blades have the same bios-revision.

Am I alone with this problem?
