nope.
also on opteron the -hugemem kernel has no extra overhead (due to some hardware features in that cpu).
But.... I am wondering. Is this forum really the best way to escalate customer support escalations for you? ;) I'm pretty sure VMWare has a support relationship with Red Hat, and I also suspect that that is a much better venue to get better and more detailed answers (also because you can give RH more information in a confidential way)
