question about dnsmasq

Hi.. Does any one ever use dnsmasq before ?  I have
installed dnsmasq but it seems can't start
automatically during boot time.  I need to type
dnsmasq every time after reboot.  

Besides, I found that I don't have the configuration
/etc/dnsmasq.conf.  Should I manually create or I did
not install dnsmasq correctly ?
