Hints/scripts on using an XP L2TP/IPSEC client through a RHEL3 Iptables srv? 2006-05-08 - By coyote@(protected)

Hello everyone,
I'm pretty much stuck here.
I have a RHEL3 firewall with iptables. One Windows XP VPN client behind that firewall will use the 'Business Anywhere Kit' with L2TP/IPSEC to connect to a Windows (I suspect) VPN server on the Internet. Is such a thing doable? Are there any good iptables scriplets for that? Most of the info I was able to google used some from of ipsec on the Linux server and it was assumed you had Administrator priviledges on the remote VPN servers, which I don't. Also the remote VPN servers are most likely not Linux/Swan/etc...
The only server that I can admin here is the RHEL3 box. The Windows XP client is 'secured/tamper protected' and another company runs the VPN servers on the Internet..
Any ideas?
Thanks for reading,
