Back Hi, Anyone who knows how to add new words to the cracklib dictionary and/or how to build a completely new cracklib dictionary on RHEL3 and RHEL4 ? I searched the redhat knowledge base but it only refers to a broken URL (http://www.crypticide.org/users/alecm/) how words are added to the dictionary. The cracklib-dicts rpm installs 2 utilities in /usr/sbin, mkdict and packer, however, no information what so ever how they should be used (if they are the tools I'm looking for). In the early days (RedHat 5.0 ....), RedHat supplied a utility in the cracklib-dics rpm called create-cracklib-dict, however, this utility seems to have been removed. Regards /Johan
