Back
If you have your XP installation CD, boot to it.
Then, (I can't quite remember exactly where), you can get to the
recovery console and use the FIXBOOT and FIXMBR options to get windows
booting back the way it should.

so i had fedora core on my drive once, and then scrapped it and
restored my
windows ghost image. but now when i boot i go straight to a "grub"
prompt.
how do i boot back to windows?
