ibm e326 + dual core amd + certified 2006-05-11 - By Bob Flynn
Back Hi,
I am getting somewhat lost on the Red Hat hardware support database, so someone might be able to help me.
Two questions.
1. Are any version of the IBM e326 or e326m servers, running 2 x dual core AMD processors certified and supported by Red Hat and IBM.
2. Is this a restriction redhat licensing on 2 x dual core AMD, ie forcing to go from WS to ES. I am aware of the 2 processor limit in relation to WS, but am unsure how dual-core is treated.
Thanks for any pointers,
-Bob
