It's typically best to find the certifications from the hardware vendor's site, but watch out for proprietary driver disks. For example, Sun says their Gigaswift Fiber Gigabit card is certified with RHEL. In actuality, it's certified by them and it requires you to download a tarball and compile on your Linux host. :-( If you run into issues with that card, Red Hat will not help.
