Just browsing IBM's site found the following: http://www-03 (See http://www-03.ora-code.com).ibm.com/servers/eserver/serverproven/compat/us/nos/redchata.html
It's typically best to find the certifications from the hardware vendor's site, but watch out for proprietary driver disks. For example, Sun says their Gigaswift Fiber Gigabit card is certified with RHEL. In actuality, it's certified by them and it requires you to download a tarball and compile on your Linux host. If you run into issues with that card, Red Hat will not help.

If you visit http://www.redhat.com/rhel/compare/server/, look at subscript #3.

Brian,
thanks for the reply.
Subscript #3 is pretty clear, so a 2 x dual core opteron system should be treated as 2 cpu so WS should be sufficent.
Looking at the link on the IBM site, it confirms that the e326 is certified, but says nothing about the e326m,
hence my query.
it may well be that this page has not been updated, but it would be reassuring to hear from someone who had gone through this before. The alternative is to ask IBM I guess.
