To all.
I have to install java  jre-1 (See http://jre-1.ora-code.com).3.1_18.586.rpm

[root@(protected) apps1]# java -version
java version "1.4.2"

How can I get away from this. I installed 1.4.2 - and the application I
intended to install does not support. I removed through rpm.
And install 1.3.1   - 1.4.2 is stuck. WHY?

Please help.
